G2-LEADERS VIGIL System

The VIGIL system accompanies the incubator throughout all the phases of operations

  • First acceptance of a candidate with all the assessments and processing the initial training needs analysis
  • Following up the leaders’s career during the posting in a way to re-prioritize the training need analysis to dispense on-career training
  • Preparing the candidate for the second iteration of moving for a new posting

 

 Candidate registration and processing

The VIGIL system records all new candidates with a particular care for their previous postings (cultural differences)

Assessments  recording

The system then is enriched by the assessments results and scores. Usually these assessments are provided with a complete report and recommendations from the assessment organization; the reports are included in the VIGIL database for further reference.

 First time processing

This processing is essentially for determining the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) of the candidate. The TNA is an algorithm taking into consideration: previous courses, desires of the candidate, desires by his/her HR, the basic skills required, the candidate original culture, the receiving culture, the styles required, the industry, and the team maturity level.

This algorithm is the basic mechanism of the system that is repeated whenever there is any change (large or small) affecting the candidate.

Career follow-up in the posting

Leaders are evaluated during their posting on the basis of Return On Expectation (ROE) of the Kirkpatrick new world model and the leadership practices inventory (LPI) both adapted to the G2– LEADERS methodology. The evaluation is a 360o involving peers, superiors, subordinates, customers and the community, The results of this evaluation are to review the prioritization of the skills needed and the recommendations of further coaching/training.

Subsequent postings

All the data, assessments, requirements and training subjected are gathered in the VIGIL database to be amended and updated during the candidate career. The amendments will come whenever the candidate in his/her career follows a new training during his/her posting.  The VIGIL system and database will direct the use of the incubator functions to prepare the candidate for the next geo-posting.
